Premier League Men's Coach
The Grange Royals Hockey Club is seeking applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Premier League Men's Coach.
Our club has a strong family focus that encourages participation at all levels of endeavour whether it be playing hockey, organising activities, or enjoying each other’s company.
Over a number of years, we have had players selected in junior, senior and veteran state and national teams, including many junior and senior state representatives in our current Premier League squads.
We are seeking a coach who can take our PLM side to the next level.
Roles and responsibilities
The primary responsibility is to train, mentor, and coach the Premier League Men’s team and assist with pathways for junior players.
Desired experience/qualifications
- PLM coach must have a current coaching accreditation with HockeyEd
- Ideally have 5+ years of involvement at Premier League/State League level or equivalent.
Necessary Skills/Qualities
- Strong knowledge of hockey including game styles, game plans, player, and team development.
- Excellent people management skills
- Competent in using technology as a tool to coach, and reflect on individual development and team cohesiveness
Pre-season training sessions – Starting January 2023
Tuesday and Thursday training sessions throughout the season
Weekend and mid-week match fixtures
